SATURDAY RIDE – Squealer’s Smoke Shack Bar & Grill – Tea, SD
Corey & Terry will lead this Saturday ride. Both Corey and Terry have not graduated to die-hard riders, and are fair weather riders. So, while we will do what we can to notify people of a cancellation due to inclement weather, please use your own judgement as well. If the conditions are not suitable for your capabilities, then don’t come. If we are not there, chances are, you missed a cancellation, or maybe we are on the bike and can’t currently send one. However, if the weather looks workable to you, and not to us, feel free to use the information in this message, and carry on the ride without us. This is for the ride, comradery, and some food. No specific person has to be there to make the day/ride successful.
We won’t be taking a direct route. It will be about a 2 hour commute each direction, even though we will not duplicate very many roads. Trip will log 200 miles or so. A likely map for the day is below.
The plan is to shove off from the HAMILTON BLVD Hy-Vee at 10AM, arrive at Squealers about noon, and then between 1-1:30PM shove off for the roughly 2hr commute back, putting us back by about 3:30PM ish. Please arrive slightly early and be fueled up and ready to depart at 10AM
The stock GPS link at the bottom of this event will take you right to Squealers, and not via the scenic route planned. So if you are coming from a different direction, and just want to meet for lunch, you can do so, but for all else doing the ride, that GPS route will defy a lot of directions we plan to take.
