10AM SATURDAY ride to Larchwood, IA & Lunch at Chud’s Pub

Corey & Terry will lead this Saturday ride. Both Corey and Terry have not graduated to die-hard riders and are fair weather riders. So, while we will do what we can to notify people of a cancellation due to inclement weather, please use your own judgement as well. If the conditions are not suitable for your capabilities, then don’t come. If we are not there, chances are, you missed a cancellation, or maybe we are on the bike and can’t currently send one. However, if the weather looks workable to you, and not to us, feel free to use the information in this message, and carry on the ride without us. This is for the ride, comradery, and some food. No specific person must be there to make the day/ride successful.
We won’t be taking a direct route, construction and flooding seemed to nix that, (who wants too anyway?) It will be about a two hour ride each direction, even though we may duplicate few roads along the way. Below, is a list of towns that we will pass through, or near (subject to change of course). Also, you’ll find a map in here as well, which show you the likely route for the day.
The plan is to leave from the Bak BMW, KSU (Kick Stands Up) at 10:00 am arrive at Chud’s Pub in Larchwood at about noon, and then between 1-1:30PM head out for the roughly 1:45 ride back, putting us back by about 2:45-3 PM (ish).
The GPS link in this event will take you right to the Chud’s, and not via the planned route. If you are coming from a different direction, and just want to meet for lunch, you can do so, but for all else doing the ride, that GPS route will defy a lot of directions we plan to take.
